Cheers to the last sips of summer with this seasonal sandwich to savor with Good Clean Wine Synchronized Swimming Rosé Sangria.
There’s nothing more French than a crusty baguette layered with creamy Brie and salty Jambon de Paris. Add ripe, juicy peaches and you’ve got the perfect balance of savory, creamy, and sweet. It’s rustic, elegant, and exactly the kind of effortless apéro we love to pair with a chilled glass (or pitcher) of our Synchronized Swimming Rosé Sangria.
Simple enough for a lazy afternoon by the pool but chic enough to serve at a French-inspired picnic or Labor Day weekend gathering.
Ingredients (Serves 2–4)
1 fresh French baguette
6 oz Brie (triple cream works beautifully)
4 slices Jambon de Paris (or substitute prosciutto if preferred)
2 ripe peaches, thinly sliced
1 small handful of fresh arugula (optional, for peppery contrast)
1–2 tsp Dijon mustard (optional, for a tangy kick)
Instructions
Prep the baguette: Slice the baguette in half lengthwise. If you prefer, warm it in the oven for 2–3 minutes to bring back the crisp crust.
Layer the Brie: Spread or layer thick slices of Brie along the bottom half of the bread.
Add the ham: Fold slices of Jambon de Paris on top of the Brie.
Top with peaches: Arrange thin peach slices evenly for a sweet, juicy contrast.
Finish with greens: Add a handful of arugula if you like a peppery bite.
Assemble & slice: Top with the other half of the baguette, press lightly, and slice into portions.
