First Taste of the new Notte Rosa Vintage

First Taste of the new Notte Rosa Vintage

Our winemaker Carlo, tasting the new Notte Rosa sparkling Lambrusco rosé wine he makes for us from indigenous grape varieties Salamino and Sorbara. Grown on ancient vines in Carpi, Modena County, in Emilia-Romagna’s historic terroir.

The new Notte Rosa vintage reflects the cooler nights and gentle sun from the 2024 growing season that produced grapes with thinner skins and lower anthocyanin levels. These vineyard conditions naturally resulted in a lighter rosé hue than the previous vintage.

The delicate, lighter color is a result of minimal intervention winemaking and natural fermentation in the traditional Lambrusco style. This new vintage is bright, aromatic, and one of our best yet. You’ll taste the authentic, vibrant, and soft terroir of Emilia-Romagna in every sip. Notte Rosa, available by the bottle and in cans, is a fresh, elegant expression of sustainable Italian winemaking.

Because the new vintage is lighter in color and structure, it pairs best with dishes that are fresh, lightly savory, or creamy, with herbs, and subtle sweetness, allowing both the food and the wine to shine without overpowering each other.

Whether you're pairing it with a simple cheese board, a savory fall dish, or enjoying it on its own, this sparkling rosé offers a true taste of sustainable Italian winemaking.
